A friend's sister eats a lot of weight watchers stuff, can you buy it in stores in the UK? She also drinks lots and lots of diet soft drinks. Have you tried raw vegetables? You can munch on raw carrot and celery and they're mostly water.

I'm on mirtazapine but mostly as a counter to my IBS (which kills my appetite so I lost a bunch of weight) these days. Somewhere between 25 and 30mg is the magic level where they cancel out and I have a regular appetite. The anti-depressant effect just kicked in too, so I've been unreasonably happy recently. Vorsprung durch Chemie as they say.

Ahhh traffic light jelly. I made that once. Strawberry is redder but I think rasberry tastes better. Ifyou want to make it really red put in slightly less water so it is more concentrated. Ohhh and when you put the next layer in you need to make sure that you leave the container compleatly flat or it all gets wonky which looks pretty goood but isnt very trafficlightish.

Yes, I eat a lot of Quorn. Also, make sure your jelly is the sugar free type.

Hannah, I have a jelly related question for you: I want to make traffic light jelly, but I have both raspberry and strawberry, and can't decide which would be best to use for the red layer? The green and amber layers are lemon&lime and orange respectively.

Intothesystem- Thanks, weetabix is that the big ones that are the size of your palm that you eat with lots of milk and the like. My parents stocked up on waitrose perfectly balenced soup and I think there are about 12 cans of it, which is enough to have a bath in.

Eccedentesiast- I am trying to be careful. I have watched anorexia tear apart my aunts life and heard my mother talk about her troubles with food when she graduated from university which can be best described as undiagnosed anorexia. I am 6' so a little bit of extra weight doesnt affect my body shape too much so I am very lucky. I have also seen what I look like at a bmi of 18 when things were so difficult and didnt like what I looked like. Really I just want to drop one dress size and I think I will look better. Right I will look out for quorn next time I go out.

Well done on the losing a stone. Good work!

I was going to suggest soup, but looks like you already eat that. It does help though. Filling and tasty. Weetabix is good - I guess that fits in with the high fibre.

Chuckle- Thanks, I think I shall invest in some nuts once it stops raining. It hasnt taken me that long to loose the stone but it has taken many gym sessions and lots of clock watching until meal times.

Thereandback- just checked out that link, looks like there is some really interesting infomation there. Think I will read it all tonight when the rest of the world is asleep.

Mariah-high fiber, hmmmm. My mum has high fiber musli. But cookies, mmmnn cookies. I had been trying to cut them out of my diet because of the high fat content but mmmmnnn

High-fiber foods will keep you full. Oats (in oatmeal, granola, cookies, etc.) work especially well.
